The registration fee includes

  • Access to all scientific sessions and exhibition area from 3rd to 6th November 2010,
  • Lunches and coffee breaks on all the days of the conference,
  • One invitation to the Welcome Reception on 3rd November evening,
  • One invitation to the ISoP 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner and dancing on the 5th November evening,
  • and all congress material (with abstracts book).

Post-conference Training Courses

Registration fees for Post-conference Training courses on Saturday 6th November ("Creating a Safety Culture", " Clinical Trial Safety", "Vaccine Safety") and Sunday 7th November ("Basic concepts in Pharmacovigilance", "Principles of Risk Management") are not included in the conference fee.

Please note that that course "Basic concepts in Pharmacovigilance (French)" is no longer available.

Members of ISoP are eligible for the "member" rate. If ISoP cannot verify your current membership, you will be charged the non-member rate.

When you pay and register as a Non-Member at the full registration rate, you will receive ISoP membership status from 1 January until 31 December 2011 (this membership does not include a subscription to the journal Society ‘Drug Safety’).

A welcome letter will be sent after the conference when the Applications Committee of ISoP confirmed the acceptance.

* Full time students (under 30 years old) can benefit from the student fee . Student fee registration must be accompanied by proof of status (photocopy of the relevant document has to be sent by fax to ISoP 2010 secretariat : + 233-302-785270 within 2 weeks of the online registration (see below for contact details). Otherwise, application cannot be accepted.

** "Emerging Countries" : Low-income economies and Lower-middle-income economies- as defined by the World Bank List (http://www.worldbank.org/countries) .

Bursaries:

A limited number of bursaries for residents in Ghana and African countries are available upon request for the attendance to the conference (3rd (pm), 4th, 5th, 6th (am) November) - only for government, academic and hospitals staff professionals.

Payment

All payments have to be made in Pounds Sterling (£) in cash, on-site on your first day of attendance.

Confirmation of Booking

Written confirmation will be sent by e-mail to all registered delegates.

Letter of Invitation

Delegates will require travel Visas to visit Ghana for the conference. ISoP 2010 requires that people must have formally registered for the conference before a letter of invitation to support application for a travel visa is issued.

Cancellation fee

Cancellation of individual registration bookings received in writing by ISoP 2010 Conference Secretariat will be refunded after the conference at the following rates:

  • After 1st August : 50% of the registration fee refunded
  • After 1st September we regret no refund can be made.

Name substitutions can be made at any time (according to registration fees status).

Reimbursement will not be made for late arrival, unattended events or early departure from the conference

The Conference Secretariat ISoP 2010, and the International Society of Pharmacovigilance (ISoP) reserve the right to alter or cancel, without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables or plans relating directly or indirectly to the conference or Exhibition, for any cause beyond their reasonable control. The Conference Secretariat or ISoP are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alterations. Participants are advised to take out their own travel insurance and to extend their personal policy to cover personal possessions: the conference does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft of belongings.

In the event that the Meeting is cancelled by the organizers, or cannot take place for any reason outside the control of the organizers, the registration fee will be refunded in full. The liability of the organizers shall be limited to that refund and the organizers shall not be liable for any other loss, cost or expense, howsoever caused, incurred or arising.

ISoP 2010 Secretariat acting on behalf of ISoP, will hold and process your personal details on their database for the sole purpose of administering the ISoP 2010 conference. This information is necessary for the legitimate management of this conference.

No financial data will be stored by ISoP 2010 Secretariat
